The members of Curves Lincoln have been active throughout the year in supporting several prominent charity events.

A cheque for £355 was presented in October 2007 to Ron Lodge from Cancer Research UK .
During October the normal joining fee was donated to the charity and also a club raffle was held.

In March 2008 the Curves food drive collected 17st 12lbs of non perishable food stuff. This was donated to Lincoln Womens Aid Shelter

Twelve of our members participated in the Race for Life event at RAF Waddington on the 17th May. Club owner Sue Murray took the warm up for all 4,000 participants and was supported on the podium by Gaynor Barnes from the Calendar TV programme .
Again several hundred pounds were raised
