As part of Curves Breast Cancer awareness month in October, a cheque for £420 was presented to Jan Cox of Candles, a Lincoln Cancer Research Charity. This sum was raised from various activities including a staff "Curvathon". New members joining fees were also added to the sum.

Joining Sue Murray in making the presentation to Jan were club members Jeanette Sansum, Ann Wakefield and Carol Todd.

Sue recently completed 20 miles of Hadrians Wall in aid of the Oncology unit at Lincoln County.
